Updated Guidance on the Full Opening of Schools 28th July 2020

Guidance on full opening of schools 27th July – with changes[33968]

Sent on behalf of Gareth Drawmer, Head of Achievement and Learning

Dear Colleagues,

We are aware that many of you are taking time out from work to take a well deserved break. This has been a very challenging period and we recognise the hard work and dedication that you and your staff have put in during the crisis. However we will continue to send updates based on national and local guidance whenever there are changes, we hope that this is useful and appreciated.

In the 27th July edition of full opening of schools guidance, the DfE stated that they had updated the guidance to provide more advice and clarity on some aspects of the return to school in the autumn. We are aware that identifying these changes in such a large document is challenging. The School Improvement Team have reviewed the document and identified a number of changes; we have highlighted them in the attached document for your convenience. The office is manned over the summer if you need us.

I hope that you manage to take a break and enjoy the summer.

Warm regards,

Gareth Drawmer
